Celebrate Trails Day Glow Ride on the Sheepskin Trail

Date: Saturday, April 26, 2025

Time: Ride begins at 8:00 PM (please arrive by 7:30 PM for check-in and bike decorating)

Meeting Location: Sheepskin Trailhead at Hutchinson Park, South Union Township, PA

Join us for a festive nighttime glow ride for Celebrate Trails Day! Light up your bike with glow sticks, LEDs, and reflective gear as we illuminate the Sheepskin Trail. This leisurely-paced group ride is approximately 4 miles out and back, heading from Hutchinson Park to Mom Maruca’s Pizza Shop in Uniontown. We’ll enjoy food, drinks, and socializing on their patio before returning to Hutchinson Park as a group. Participants may also choose to end their ride at the pizza shop if preferred.

Event Highlights:

• Total Ride Distance: Approximately 4 miles (round-trip)

• Route: From Sheepskin Trailhead (Hutchinson Park) to Mom Maruca’s Pizza Shop and back

• Helmets Required

• Participants responsible for purchasing their own food and drinks (Must be 21 to purchase adult beverages)

• Bring: Bike, helmet, and glow-in-the-dark decorations/lights

Schedule:

• 7:30 PM: Check-in at Hutchinson Park/Bike Decorating

• 8:00 PM: Ride starts

• Approx. 8:30 PM: Arrival at Mom Maruca’s Pizza Shop for food, drinks, and socializing (participants are responsible for purchasing their own food and drink)

• Return ride to Hutchinson Park following refreshments (optional)
